A survey of ecological concepts and environmental issues from a biological perspective. This course will provide an introduction to environmental science and the use of scientific thinking and literacy to examine population dynamics, community interactions, ecosystem functions, evolution and biodiversity, and the impacts of humans on their environment (land, water, energy, food, waste, and climate). Not intended for biology majors.
