ENGR 3235 A — Fluid Mechanics
CRN 50402
3.0 credit hours
The basic principles and equations of fluid mechanics are presented. The properties of fluids and the effects of fluids at rest and in motion are examined. The physics are emphasized to develop an intuitive understanding of fluid mechanics. Real-world engineering applications are presented and analyzed. Topics include properties, fluid statics and kinematics, conservation laws, dimensional analysis, and internal and external flows. Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of "C" in MATH 2243, MATH 3230, and ENGR 2231.
