The site development construction process with an emphasis on soils as a construction material. Topics include soils investigation, testing, classification, engineering properties and modification techniques, excavation equipment, construction dewatering, slope stability and support, layout and grade staking, sediment and erosion control, foundations, underground utilities and pavements. Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of "C" in TCM 3332 and TCM 2233 or CENG 2231.
