This course is designed to engage teacher candidates in the process of social science inquiry and prepare them to teach social studies through inquiry. Students enrolled in the course will participate in a series of inquiry-based learning experiences, utilize these experiences to explore this approach to instruction, and plan inquiry-based instructional units. Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of "C" in HIST 2110; MGED 3131 or SCED 3121.
