The purpose of this course is to provide an overview of the health sciences in terms of contemporary issues, characteristics of the profession, and career preparation. Self-assessment, discussion, and personal reflection will be incorporated throughout the semester to provide direction toward a career in the health sciences. (Should be completed immediately upon entry into the BHS program).
