Open only to online medical laboratory science majors. A qualitative and quantitative study of the physical and microscopic constituents of urine and other body fluids. Diagnosis of the renal system, the central nervous system, and other systemic diseases. Study of the principles of hemostasis and blood coagulation, including interpretation of results. Includes practice of manual and automated procedures and their relationship to diagnosing disease.
