This course is designed to examine the etiology, diagnosis, characteristics, effective teaching strategies, and philosophical, educational, and legal implications of the full range of students who demonstrate a need for additional educational services in order to achieve full potential. Candidates seeking certification must earn a "B" or better in this course. Prerequisite(s): Admission to Teacher Education Program and a minimum grade of "C" and prior or concurrent enrollment in MGED 3731.
