Student focus on the operating principles of ventilators used in critical care. Laboratory experience in pneumatic and electronic circuits, setting the control panel, phasing the respiratory cycle, ventilator modes, alarms and troubleshooting will be emphasized. Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of "C" in RESP 3210.
