Examines the family through an ecological approach, including how clients exist within their various systems. Students' awareness of their own family's system is used as a base from which they can develop an approach for understanding and working with families. The use of family counseling techniques in a variety of settings will also be examined. Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of "C" in COUN 7332; Permission from the instructor is required for students not accepted into the COUN program.
