Forensic biology is the marriage of biological sciences and the law. The extensive use of biological evidence has had a significant bearing on the course of law enforcement investigations in criminal and civil court proceedings. This course will introduce students to some of the basic concepts in forensic biology. Students should expect graphic imagery associated with actual forensic cases. Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of "C" in BIOL 3131 and BIOL 3133 and BIOL 3134. Cross Listing(s): BIOL 5141G.
