Covers important discrete mathematical objects such as sets, relations and functions, graphs and trees. An introduction to mathematical logic and reasoning, and the concept of an algorithm and its complexity will be covered. Prerequisite(s): Prior or concurrent enrollment in MATH 1232, or a minimum grade of "C" in MATH 1111 or MATH 1112 or MATH 1113 or MATH 1441 or MATH 2242.
