This course focuses on a selection of models commonly used in business analytics including simple and multiple regression analysis, time series analysis and forecasting, decision theory, and optimization models. Cross disciplinary business analytics applications are emphasized in this course. Students will learn to apply business analytics models to solve business problems using computer-based tools such as Excel Solver and Excel Data Analysis. Real business data and examples will be used whenever possible. Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of "C" in BUSA 3131.
