BIOL 1107 ACA — Principles of Biology I

This course covers foundational concepts in molecular and cellular biology. Topics include the scientific method, organic macromolecules, cell structure and function, respiration, photosynthesis, cell division, and the flow of information from DNA to proteins. Requires a minimum grade of C to enroll in higher-level BIOL courses. Prerequisite(s): Prior or concurrent enrollment in all of the following: BIOL 1107L, ENGL 1101, and MATH 1001 or higher.
