The purpose of this course is to equip students with a strategic framework for understanding the role of logistics and supply chain management in overall firm success, and initiate students to various analytical tools for solving supply chain problems. Of particular interest are topics such as demand-driven value networks, supply chain competitiveness, strategic fit in supply chains, distribution network design, transportation planning and management, and strategic sourcing. Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of "C" in LOGT 2232.
