This course explores the role of the nurse practitioner in the provision of primary health care to women in rural/urban ambulatory care settings who present for gynecological and prenatal care. Emphasis is placed on health maintenance/promotion and the management of women’s health concerns within the transcultural context of family/community. Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of "B" in BSN-DNP Core courses. Corequisite(s): NURS 8722.
