This course is designed to prepare the special education teacher candidates to teach mathematics. An emphasis is placed on instructional strategies, assessments, technology, materials, co-teaching, accommodations and evidence based practices to make mathematics learning meaningful and appropriate for students with disabilities. A minimum grade of “C” in prerequisite courses is required. Prerequisite(s): SPED 7632
