This course develops instructional methods in planning, teaching & evaluating psychomotor, cognitive & affective learning in elementary physical education. The emphasis will be on student learning in health related fitness, movement concepts, and skill themes at the elementary physical education level. Specifically, the course will be oriented toward developing appropriate curriculum content & effective teaching skills for elementary physical education. Prerequisite(s): Admission to MAT in Health and Physical Education program or permission of instructor.
