Numerical methods used in the solution of engineering problems are introduced. Topics include errors in numeric computations, linear algebra, vector and matrix operations, linear programming problems, linear and nonlinear regression, and probability and statistics. Prerequisite(s): A grade of "C" or better in MATH 2242 and (ENGR 1121, ENGR 1131, ENGR 1731 or MFGE 2534).
