Principles and phenomena from fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer are reinforced through student-conducted experiments. Data acquired from appropriate experiments are analyzed and interpreted. Effective communication practices are reinforced through the completion of technical reports. Application areas include fluid statics, flow measurement devices, thermodynamic cycles, and heat exchangers. Prerequisite(s): A grade of "C" or better in MENG 3233, MENG 3531, and MENG 3511.
