This course reviews research, theory, and practice as they relate to the physical, cognitive, language, aesthetic, and social and emotional development of children ages 6 to 18 years. Emphasis will be on current issues that relate to these years and planning and implementing developmentally appropriate youth programming. Service-learning hours required in lecture delivery.
