To fight fraud effectively, professionals must understand the laws governing fraud. This course examines the US criminal justice system, fraud schemes, cybercrime and various forms of fraud, including securities fraud, corruption schemes, phishing and identity theft. This course analyzes the techniques accountants, criminal justice professionals and other corporate professionals use to detect, prevent and mitigate white-collar crime. Prerequisite(s): Junior Status.
