Laboratory exercises supplement the lecture material of BIOL 1107. Laboratory course emphasizing the scientific process and cellular and molecular biology research skills, including experimental design, effective use of research instrumentation and equipment, data analysis, and communication of research findings. Requires a minimum grade of C to enroll in higher-level BIOL courses. Prerequisite(s): Prior or concurrent enrollment in BIOL 1107, ENGL 1101, and MATH 1001 or higher.
