Biological data is inherently variable. Thus, the design of research projects and interpretation of data are required. Students will learn to formulate hypotheses, find, read & evaluate scientific literature, and to manipulate, visualize, and analyze data. Students interested in undergraduate research, or graduate / professional schools will gain the skills to understand and conduct research at any level. No textbook is required, yet readings will be assigned. In lieu of a textbook, students will need to purchase online access to complete assignments.
